Barbara Jaffe Rios

I graduated from Douglass College and joined the Peace Corps, where I spent four years in the Cuzco, Peru area as a community worker in rural communities. My husband and I returned to NY; I received a MSW from Rutgers and he a PhD in economics from Columbia. I worked as a bilingual school social worker until I retired in 2005, my husband as an economics professor at Lehman College. We travelled some - Peru, Europe - before he died, and I am continuing to travel now.
